South Central CA - Eight miles west of Tehachapi
The greater Tehachapi, CA, area has a fairly mild four season climate. Bear Valley Springs has snow in the winter that is usually gone in a day or two on the valley floor with its' elevation of 4,000 - 4,200 ft. The summers are very enjoyable for outdoor activities with this elevation. The mountains in Bear Valley Springs reach to 6900 ft altitude so snow stays on the ground a "bit" longer in the higher elevations. s.
